As Cappadocia’s first and only Michelin-starred restaurant, Revithia has become one of the best restaurants in Cappadocia for guests seeking an authentic tasting menu experience. The restaurant’s name Revithia, meaning “chickpea,” symbolizes transformation and renewal.

Revithia transforms age-old Anatolian recipes from the many civilizations that have lived in these lands into modern culinary masterpieces. Here, food is more than sustenance, it is a storytelling medium that connects past and present, tradition and innovation, in each memorable bite.

Culinary Philosophy and Tasting Menu

As the region’s sole Michelin-starred restaurant and a pioneer of Cappadocia’s tasting menu culture, Revithia offers a seasonally changing menu that ensures no two visits are ever the same. Our chefs draw inspiration mainly from Turkish, Greek, and Armenian recipes passed down through generations, reviving nearly forgotten dishes with creative, modern techniques. The menu typically evolves three to four times a year to highlight the freshest local ingredients and seasonal flavors. Each course is thoughtfully crafted as a tribute to the region’s rich culinary tapestry, honoring tradition while igniting new delight for the palate.

Wine Pairings and Terroir

To complement our cuisine, Revithia celebrates Cappadocia’s terroir-driven wines. Every course can be paired with local Cappadocian wines produced in the region’s volcanic soil, highlighting unique grape varietals and terra rossa nuances. These pairings elevate each dish, allowing guests to literally taste the Cappadocian landscape in their glass. From crisp white wines to robust reds and indigenous grape blends, the curated wine program offers a perfect harmony between food and wine, further enhancing the multi-sensory dining experience.

Ambiance and Seating

Housed within a UNESCO-recognized historic cave, Revithia provides an atmosphere as enchanting as its menu. The indoor dining room, crafted from ancient stone walls and adorned with warm, elegant décor, offers an intimate capacity of just 25 guests, ensuring personalized attention and a serene ambience

During warmer months, dinner can be enjoyed on our open-air terrace, seating up to 40 guests, overlooking the fairy-tale panoramas of Ürgüp and Kayakapi Premium Caves - Cappadocia. Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a romantic evening for two, the combination of candlelight, panoramic valley views, and heartfelt service creates an unforgettable Cappadocia dining experience. Hours and Service

Revithia welcomes guests for dinner service only, Monday through Saturday (closed on Sundays). First seating begins at 18:00, with last orders at 21:00, and the restaurant doors close at midnight. This unhurried service window allows you to fully savor each course and wine pairing at a relaxed pace. Our team is dedicated to making your evening special, so please inform us of any special occasions, as we are delighted to personalize your experience.

Reservations
Please note that reservation requests are not considered confirmed until you have received a confirmation email from our team.
To ensure the best possible dining experience, Revithia welcomes reservations for a minimum of 2 guests. For larger parties, we kindly recommend contacting us directly in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

Children
Children aged 15 and above are welcome to join the tasting menu experience and are required to order a menu. Children under the age of 15 may order from our children's menu.

Pets
Pets are not permitted inside the restaurant.

Outside Food & Beverage
Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Please note that Revithia does not offer a corkage program. Therefore, externally purchased wines or other beverages cannot be brought into or served within the restaurant.

Dress Code
The dress code at Revithia is Smart Casual.
For gentlemen, collared shirts and long trousers are recommended. Shorts, sportswear, tracksuits, hoodies, caps, flip-flops, and similar casual attire are not permitted.
